At last! A show with the lovely and outlandishly talented Pamelia Kurstin on the theremin. It is an instrument impossibly difficult to play, but she has perfect pitch and that allows her to overcome the inherent difficulty of the instrument. She and Victor really shine on this show. They have a great duet leading into "Bil Mon," and after yet another brilliant bass solo, Vic and Jeff do a killer funk jam to go into "Sleeper." It has a rock-solid setlist, and if I didn't see the source I honestly would have guessed that it was a soundboard source (even though the Flecktones don't allow soundboard sourcing).
As a side note, in the text file, the uploader says during Béla's solo, "Also, whether by design or freak accident, at 5:47 Bela plays several notes from the theme song of the Russian children's cartoon Crocodile Gena." I would guess it's not that, but actually the Galileo section of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." He's a fan of classic rock and has done that tease before (as well as Led Zep's "Stairway to Heaven" and many more).
In any event, crystal-clear sound + Pamelia + the Flecktones being their usual brilliant selves = DOWNLOAD THIS SHOW NOW!
